Boil Water Notice Rescinded
October 21, 2024
On October 17, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Nueces Water Supply Corporation public water system, PWS ID#1780052, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of October 21,2024.
This area includes the Spring Gardens, Tierra Verde, Lost Creek, Ja-Lin, Glenco, The Plains, Rancho Banquete, Sweetwater, Indian Trails, La Paloma, Cyndie Park and The Ranch Subdivisions, and all customers in western Nueces County including FM 2826, CR 34 between CR 77 & US Highway 77, and CR 36.
On behalf of the Nueces Water Supply Corporation, we thank-you for your cooperation during this time.
